New Civic Education Resources Launched

Learning by Hearings – Announcing New Civic Education Resources for the Classroom, Available for Free from Wayne Law’s Levin Center.

The Levin Center is excited to announce the release of new classroom resources that include six new inquiry-based lessons, four video resources, and four stand-alone Snapshots that explore key periods in U.S. history and concepts in civics. The Learning by Hearings (LbH) materials were created by educational professionals in the Levin Center’s civic education team.

The Levin Center is bringing high-quality, inquiry-driven educational materials to high school Civics and U.S. History classrooms around the state. Our LbH education resources use the lens of legislative oversight to enable students to take the lead in the classroom by inviting them to ask questions, interrogate materials, and interpret history from their own point of view.
